Which Product schema fields actually matter — a build checklist?
'Q: My product schema validates but I get no rich results. What's missing?'
Short answer: Validating isn't qualifying — you're probably missing the fields Google requires for the price and review snippets.
The longer version: Build it in this order.
— Required core: name, image, and a valid offers block with price + priceCurrency + availability.
— For the price-to-show: add priceValidUntil or Google may drop the price after the date passes silently.
— For star ratings: aggregateRating must reflect real, visible on-page reviews — invisible ratings get manual actions.
— Add brand, sku, and gtin/mpn for merchant eligibility.
— Match every value to what's visible on the page. Mismatched price = ignored markup.
Example: a store had ratings in schema but reviews loaded via a third-party iframe Google couldn't see — rich results vanished until reviews were server-rendered.
Rule of thumb: schema must mirror the page, not decorate it.
