Maximum Delivery vs Manual Bidding: who's driving?
New to LinkedIn bidding? You get two main choices, so let's keep it simple.
Maximum Delivery = LinkedIn spends your whole budget automatically and tries to get the most results. Easy, hands-off, but it'll happily bid high to win.
Manual Bidding = you set the most you'll pay per click yourself. More work, but you control the ceiling.
Think of it like a taxi. Maximum Delivery lets the driver pick the route. Manual means you say 'don't go over twenty dollars.'
My rule for beginners: start on Maximum Delivery to learn what results cost, then switch to Manual once you know your numbers and want to cap them.
Why it matters: blind Manual bids set too low get you almost no delivery.
Next step: run one week on Maximum Delivery just to gather price data.
