Your slick JavaScript "load more" and tabbed links might not exist as far as the crawler is concerned.
Controversial but: a link that only appears after a click, a scroll event, or a JS render is a link Google may never follow and may never pass equity through. Infinite-scroll category pages, accordion-hidden link blocks, onclick navigation with no real href — they look connected in the browser and look orphaned to the bot.
The fix: every internal link must be a real anchor with an href in the rendered HTML, reachable without interaction. Test with JS disabled or check the rendered DOM in Search Console.
Does your pagination work with JavaScript turned off? If you don't know, that's a problem you can't see.
