Median reach rate for 10k accounts: 18.4% (n=420, 30-day window). Most creators measure it wrong. Run this:

Pull last 30 posts, exclude top/bottom 10% (outlier reels skew the median).

Divide accounts-reached by follower count per post, then take the median, not the mean.

Split feed vs reels — they run on separate distribution. Mixing them hides decay.

Log non-follower share. Healthy band: 35-55%.
So what: one viral reel inflates your mean by 6-9 points. Track the median, or you're optimizing a number that doesn't exist.
