You do not need a headless CMS for a 40-page site. Use the builder's native CMS.
The Contentful-or-Sanity-plus-Next.js stack is the no-code crowd cosplaying as a platform team. For a site under a few hundred pages, headless means a dev dependency for every content change, a build pipeline to babysit, and a stack only you can edit. Framer or Webflow CMS lets a marketer publish without a deploy. Headless earns it at true scale, multi-channel content, or when engineers own delivery. Reaching for it on a small marketing site is resume-driven architecture — complexity you'll maintain alone for power you don't need yet.
