For most marketing sites, designing in Framer beats Figma-then-handoff.
The Figma-to-developer pipeline made sense when builders were primitive. Now Framer lets the designer ship the real, responsive, animated site straight from the canvas — no handoff doc, no "that's not what I designed," no two-week implementation gap. The tradeoff is honest: complex apps, design systems shared across product teams, and dev-owned codebases still belong in Figma. But for a brochure or campaign site, the handoff step is pure waste you're paying for in time and translation loss. Cut the middle layer.
Agree? Or are you protecting the handoff because it's billable?
