— Pod-driven: median 22 comments in first 10 min, then flatline — reach rate 12%
— Organic: 6 comments in first 10 min, sustained 90-min tail — reach rate 19%
The distribution model appears to weight sustained velocity over front-loaded spikes. Pods produce a spike-and-die curve that correlates with suppression, not lift.
So what: a pod buys early numbers that signal manipulation. Engineer for the tail instead — reply to every comment in the first hour to extend the curve organically.
