Creator Spark Ads vs your own account's posts
Quick reminder: a Spark Ad boosts a real TikTok post. That post can come from a creator's account (with their code) or from your own brand account.
When to use each:
— Creator's post: when you want a fresh, trusted face and the creator's existing fans and comments backing the video.
— Your own post: when you control the message tightly or have no creator partnership yet.
The tradeoff: creator posts often feel more native and convert warmer, but you depend on the creator's authorization code, which can expire, and you don't own the account.
Try this: ask one small creator for a 60-day Spark code on a single video and test it against your own brand post. Don't worry if creators say no at first — short, paid Spark tests are a normal ask.
