One welcome email or a whole welcome sequence?
A welcome email is a single hello. A welcome sequence is a few emails sent automatically over several days.
Why it matters: one email is better than nothing, but new subscribers are most curious in the first week. A short sequence rides that interest.
— Step 1: Brand new to automation? Start with ONE great welcome email. Done beats perfect.
— Step 2: Comfortable with that? Add 2 more: your story, then your best free resource.
— Step 3: ✅ Keep it to 3 emails max at first — don't overwhelm yourself or them.
Homework: write just the first line of your welcome email. That's the hardest part.
