The daily-posting death march
Everyone says: "Post every single day or the algorithm forgets you."
The claim: consistency means daily, and gaps reset your standing.
What's actually true: there's no decay timer that wipes you after a quiet day. The mistake is treating frequency as the goal, which floods you with filler and trains followers to scroll past your name. Quality of a single post sets your reach far more than the count. Tested fix: drop to 3 posts a week and put the saved time into making each one have a real takeaway, a number, or a contrarian read. Accounts that cut volume and raised the bar routinely see per-post reach rise, not fall, because the audience stops auto-skipping.
It's not that you posted too little. It's that you posted too much of nothing.
