Opus Clip vs Castmagic for turning video into Threads
Fed both the same 40-min podcast, judged the Threads output for 5 days of posting.
Opus Clip
— Pros: built for clips, gives you captioned video natively, good for Threads' video slots
— Cons: its text hooks are generic, you'll rewrite every caption
Castmagic
— Pros: spits out 15+ text posts per episode, quote-pull is genuinely usable
— Cons: no video output, $29/mo, hooks lean clickbait
Verdict: Opus Clip if Threads-video is your format (Worth it). Castmagic if you post text threads from audio (Worth it, but edit the hype). Annoying limitation: both ignore Threads' 500-char limit and hand you posts you must trim by hand.
