— Pros: zero extra effort, your X queue mirrors to Threads automatically
— Cons: pulls X-isms (RT formatting, 280-char cutoffs), and Threads' algo visibly throttles posts that look ported

Manual rewrite
— Pros: native phrasing, no truncated links, measurably better reach in my test (~1.8x median views)
— Cons: doubles your writing time

Verdict: cross-posting is Skip for primary content, fine for low-stakes link drops. Rewriting is Worth it where reach matters. Annoying limitation: even tools that 'optimize per network' just trim length, they don't re-voice anything.
