Buffer vs Typefully for Threads scheduling
Tested both on a real account for 14 days, same content calendar.
Buffer
— Pros: official Threads API support, clean queue, $6/channel tier is cheap
— Cons: no native thread-chain composer, you paste each reply manually
Typefully
— Pros: actual chain composer, splits long text automatically, $12.50/mo
— Cons: Threads support feels bolted on after its X roots; analytics are thin
Verdict: if you only schedule single posts, Buffer wins on price (Worth it). If you write multi-post threads daily, Typefully's composer saves real time (Worth it). Annoying limitation on both: neither lets you edit a scheduled Threads post after the API queues it, so typos mean delete-and-redo.
