Post or Page? They look the same but aren't
Both let you write content, so the difference confuses new users.
A Post is dated, timely content that flows into your blog feed and can have categories and tags. Think news, tutorials, updates.
A Page is a standalone, timeless section like About, Contact, or Privacy Policy. No date, no feed.
How to decide:
— Would someone search for this next year and still find it useful as a 'corner of the site'? Make it a Page.
— Is it part of an ongoing stream you'll keep adding to? Make it a Post.
Getting this right keeps your menus clean and your blog organized from day one.
In plain words: Posts are dated entries in a stream, Pages are fixed rooms in your house.
