→ Showing cards-first in cash/wallet markets. In Indonesia, the Netherlands, and Poland, card is a minority rail. Fix: localize the default and the order — iDEAL first in NL, BLIK first in PL, OVO/GoPay first in ID.

→ Brazil without Pix or Boleto. Pix is now a majority of Brazilian online payment volume. A card-only Brazilian checkout caps you at a fraction of the market.

→ Germany without SEPA/invoice. Germans overwhelmingly prefer pay-on-invoice and direct debit; pushing credit card here suppresses conversion.

→ The fix is sequencing, not adding. Most processors already support these — the failure is leaving the US-default order live in every GEO. Source: any PSP's per-country method share report (Adyen/Stripe publish these).
