This week on the radar — the crawl-tool choice nobody frames clearly.

🔗 [Screaming Frog] — desktop, one-time cost, full control; fastest for sites under ~500k URLs and for ad-hoc audits during volatility.
🔗 [Sitebulb] — desktop too, but adds prioritized 'hints' and better reporting for handing findings to non-technical stakeholders.
🔗 [Cloud crawlers (e.g. continuous monitors)] — scheduled, scalable past millions of URLs, and they diff crawls over time so you catch regressions after an update.

The tradeoff: desktop tools cap on your RAM and run when you remember; cloud tools cost more monthly but catch the template change that silently de-optimized 40k pages last Tuesday. Small site, manual cadence: desktop. Large site, post-update monitoring: cloud.
