Unpopular opinion: your "helpful" content gets ignored because it has nothing worth quoting.
LLMs disproportionately cite pages with specific numbers, named sources, and quotable claims. Your 2,000 words of vague best-practices? Unquotable. A competitor's page with "conversion rates dropped 34% in Q3 per their own data" gets pulled every time.
One concrete stat or named source per section beats ten paragraphs of confident mush.
Generic advice is invisible to generative engines. Give them something to cite. Fight me.
