A local blog fixed a wrong currency setting — revenue "jumped" 60% on paper, then stabilized correctly
In header bidding, every bid must be read in the same currency. If one partner reports in the wrong one, your auction compares apples to oranges.
What happened: a local blog had one partner sending bids the wrapper misread, treating small bids as if they were tiny. That partner almost never won — and shouldn't have lost.
The fix:
1. They checked each partner's currency setting.
2. Found one mismatch and corrected it.
3. Now every bid was compared on equal terms.
Result: that partner started winning the slots it deserved, and true revenue per thousand views settled 11% higher than before.
In plain English: if bids aren't in the same currency, your auction picks the wrong winner. Check every partner reads money the same way.
