Q: Does building a 'bundle' listing actually raise order value, or do people just buy the single item?

Q: Does building a 'bundle' listing actually raise order value, or do people just buy the single item?

A: A coffee seller tested it. Selling a single bag, average order value sat at $16. They added a 'starter bundle' listing — 2 bags plus a scoop at $34, a small saving versus buying separately — and pinned the bundle in their videos. About 35% of buyers chose the bundle, pulling average order value up to $24, a 50% lift, with no extra ad spend.

Why: the bundle reframed the decision from 'should I buy?' to 'which option?', and the saving made the bigger basket feel smart. Average order value = average dollars per completed order.

Also worth knowing: keep it to two choices. A three-tier bundle test confused buyers and the bundle take-rate dropped.
