Review schema lifted organic CTR 23%, which fed affiliate clicks
A site added aggregate-rating structured data to 80 review pages. Stars appeared in search results. n=GSC data, 60-day before/after.
— Search CTR: 2.6% to 3.2% (+23%)
— Sessions to those pages: +28%
— Affiliate order rate held at 3.1%, so commission scaled with the traffic
The schema changed nothing on-page; it changed how the result looked in search and pulled more qualified clicks.
So what: affiliate revenue starts upstream in the search snippet. Star ratings are a free CTR multiplier that compounds through every downstream conversion step.
