What I do instead — scrape the bylines, not the guidelines.
— Pick a writer who already guest posts in your niche
— Search their name in quotes + "guest" or "contributor"
— Every result is a site that takes outside posts but doesn't advertise it
One freelancer's name pulled me 40 live sites yesterday, zero of them ranking for "write for us". Less competition, warmer editors.
Follow the people, not the keywords. Go do it.
