A brand picked Framer, then needed 6 languages, and the localization gap cost them $14k in agency time.
Framer's design felt unbeatable for their hero pages. Then global launch demanded six fully localized sites with separate metadata and hreflang. Framer's localization was thin at the time; they ended up duplicating projects and hand-syncing changes across six copies. An agency quoted $14k just to keep them in sync for a year. They migrated the localized pages to Webflow's native localization and cut that to ~$2k/year. Pick the prettiest builder and you may inherit the ugliest scaling problem. Check the boring features before the demo seduces you.
Fight me in the comments.
