Case study: Rank Math Instant Indexing plugin on a 900-post WordPress blog
Setup: A WordPress publisher installed Rank Math's free Instant Indexing add-on, which pushes new/updated posts to IndexNow (Bing) and the Google Indexing API on publish.
What it did well:
— New posts hit Bing in minutes; one click in the post editor to manually re-submit
— Bulk-submit existing URLs from the admin list — handy for backfilling
Where it fell short:
— The Google side only legitimately covers job/event schema; for blog posts it's tolerated, not endorsed, and indexed only ~50% of submissions here
— Adds a publish-time API call that can briefly slow saving on slow hosts
Verdict: 3.5/5. Free and frictionless for Bing; don't expect the Google button to be magic.
Best for: WP bloggers already on Rank Math. Not for: non-WP stacks or anyone needing submission analytics.
