They told you: "Daily backups included"
A hacked site asked to restore yesterday's backup. The backups existed — "included" was true. Restoring them cost $89, per restore, because "included" meant the host keeps copies, not that you can use them. The customer either paid the ransom-by-another-name or rebuilt from a 9-day-old local copy. Final tab: $89 plus a day of lost orders, on a $7/month plan that advertised "free backups" in 36pt type.
Follow the money: backups you can't restore for free are a leverage point, not a feature.
Reality: "backups included" and "restores included" are two different sentences — read both.
