Split one long form into 3 steps, +34% completion

Day 5 of the test and the multi-step was eating the single-page form alive.

Setup. Quote form, 9 fields. Control = all 9 on one screen, wall of inputs. Variant = same 9 fields, broken into 3 steps with a progress bar. 2,700 sessions.

Result. Completion 12% to 16.1%, +34%. Same number of questions. The wall scared people. Three small asks with visible progress felt like momentum. Step 1 had the easy stuff so they committed early.

Progress bar did real work. Tested it on/off later, bar alone was worth ~+8%.
