A source on a 180K gaming channel told me they started posting a Community poll 24 hours before each upload, asking which of two angles viewers wanted. Then they made the winner.

The outcome, videos teased this way pulled 3x the views in their first hour versus cold uploads. That early velocity is the signal the algorithm reads hardest.

Numbers, first-hour views went from ~800 to ~2,400 average, and several of those broke into browse-feed distribution they'd never reached.
