Only 8% of flagged accounts were ever human-reviewed
Hot take: An ex-trust-and-safety contractor put a number on the thing everyone suspects — out of a sample of ~14,000 auto-flagged ad accounts, about 8% got a human look. The other 92% were appeal-bot vs detection-bot.
So when a platform brags "we removed 2 billion bad ads," that's a machine talking to a machine. The whole moral high ground rests on an 8% human floor.
You're not being judged by a person. You're being judged by a confidence threshold someone set in a meeting. Agree? Fight me in the comments.
