MOVING: minimum-payout floors are holding small affiliates hostage
Word is a number of exchange programs set the minimum payout threshold high enough that smaller affiliates never cash out — and the balance just sits there.
— Minimum payout sits at a level that takes a slow affiliate months to reach
— Some terms void or 'expire' unpaid balances after a period of account inactivity
— So you grind to a balance, slow down, and the floor plus an expiry clause eats it
The so-what: a finance contact at a network told us unclaimed balances under the payout floor are quietly profitable for programs that pair a high floor with an inactivity-expiry clause. If you run multiple offers in low volume each, you may be permanently below every floor while your earned balance rots. Two moves: concentrate volume on fewer offers to actually clear a floor, and check every offer for a balance-expiry clause before you start. Reportedly the floor is negotiable down for affiliates who simply ask and show consistent traffic.
Watch this.
