Today: what your bid actually buys
In push, you set a bid — the price you'll pay per click or per thousand sends. Beginners think the bid only sets cost. It also sets how much traffic you even get to see.
Here's the quiet rule: networks have many advertisers competing for the same subscribers. Higher bids get shown to more, and to fresher, people first. A too-low bid doesn't just cost less — it leaves you with leftovers no one wanted.
So a bid is two things at once:
— Your price.
— Your place in line.
This is why a bargain bid sometimes brings weak results: you're buying the bottom of the barrel.
The move isn't "always bid high." It's: bid enough to get real, fresh traffic while testing, then trim once you know your numbers.
Try this: check if your network shows a "recommended" or "win rate" number. Peek at where your bid sits.
Price and position travel together.
