The claim: site left Ezoic, joined Mediavine, RPM went from $14 to $27. Proof it pays nearly double, right?

The asterisk: the switch took 11 weeks. In that window the site published 40 new posts and finally cleared a manual action that had suppressed two money pages since March.

🚩 Hidden variable: the traffic mix changed underneath the test. Mobile share dropped from 71% to 58% as desktop how-to traffic recovered. Desktop RPM on any network is roughly 2x mobile.

Same site, same period, on Ezoic would have climbed too. Nobody ran that counterfactual because nobody can.

Not saying Mediavine is bad — saying a network change bundled with a content sprint and a recovered penalty is four experiments wearing one trench coat.
