How many posts did it actually take before Google noticed a brand-new site?
Q: I'm at 14 posts and crickets. When does it start?
A: Short answer: for one new site I tracked, the inflection hit at post 28. Longer answer: it was a brand-new domain in the home-coffee niche, publishing 3 well-researched posts a week. Posts 1 through 24 sat in the impressions-only graveyard — showing up on page 4, zero clicks. Then around week 9 (post 28), older posts started maturing past the "sandbox" lull and clicks went from ~40/month to ~900/month over the next 6 weeks. Nothing technical changed. The content simply aged into trust. Your 14 isn't failure — it's the boring middle.
Anyone want me to go deeper on this? React 👍
