"One compliance warning and you're done"
Myth: "Get flagged once and the whole vertical blacklists you — dating compliance is a death sentence."
This fear gets traded around the chats and it makes operators either reckless ("it's binary, so why bother") or paralyzed. Both are wrong because the premise is wrong. Compliance in dating is a scoring system, not a guillotine. Advertisers and platforms track patterns: how fast you correct, whether complaints cluster on one creative or smear across all of them, whether your sub-ids are consistent. One flagged lander you fix promptly is a footnote. A pattern of the same violation across accounts is what burns you.
The operators who actually get nuked aren't the ones who got a warning — they're the ones who treated the warning as meaningless because "it's all binary anyway," and kept the violating asset live. The scare myth literally causes the outcome it describes.
Know the actual rules per advertiser, fix fast, keep your identifiers clean, and a flag is survivable.
Reality: Dating compliance is reputational scoring, not a kill switch, and the people who believe it's binary are the ones who get killed.
