Delete-and-reupload does not 'reset' the algo, I tested it
A flop Reel I loved — deleted it, re-uploaded clean. Same garbage reach. Did it twice. The algo already scored the content, not the post.
Reuploading the same file gives the same hooks, same retention, same result. There's no slot machine reset.
If a Reel underperforms, don't reupload — change the variable. Recut the first 3 seconds, swap the hook text, try a new opening shot. New input or no point. The file isn't unlucky, it's just not good enough yet.
