They nail the first 80% in 30 seconds and then leave you trapped in the last 20% — the part that actually matters — inside a constrained editor where you can't cleanly express the change you want. You end up fighting the generator to undo its own assumptions, which is slower than starting from a blank, well-structured template. AI is fantastic for copy, alt text, and first-draft layouts. It's not yet a replacement for someone who knows what good structure is.
