MOVING: geo blocklists are shifting mid-campaign
Word is regulatory pressure has exchanges updating restricted-geo lists faster than they tell affiliates. A traffic you sent yesterday may be unpayable today because the brand quietly added a country.
— Restricted-geo lists are usually in the terms, not pushed to your inbox
— A user from a now-blocked geo still clicks, still registers, never qualifies
— Your tracker counts it; their system silently voids it
The so-what: a compliance contact at an exchange told us blocklists now change on weeks, not quarters, because of shifting licensing. If a previously-strong geo dried up overnight with no change on your side, check whether it got added to restricted. Better — ask your manager for a webhook or at least an email when the blocklist updates. Most won't offer it, but the request flags you as someone who reads the terms, and that alone changes how they treat your account.
