Read a competitor's decline through their lost-links report
Forget what they're building. The lost-links report tells you what's quietly falling apart.
When a rival sheds 30+ referring domains a month and the new-links column is flat, that's not a Google penalty — it's a cancelled retainer. Someone stopped paying the agency, and rented links are expiring.
— Rented/PBN links churn fast; earned editorial links almost never disappear. A high lost-link rate exposes how much of the profile was bought.
— Cross-check: if the lost domains are all from the same handful of hosts, it was a network they were renting, not relationships.
Multiple profiles show the slow bleed right now — brands that looked dominant 18 months ago quietly unwinding rented authority.
