The timezone bug that silently wrecks your schedule
The quietest scheduling failure: a post set for '9 AM' fires at 9 AM in the wrong zone.
How tools handle it
✔ Sprout, Hootsuite: lock posts to a profile timezone, immune to your travel
✔ SocialBee: per-account timezone settings
✖ Buffer: schedules in YOUR account's timezone — fly to another country, your whole queue shifts
✖ Some CSV imports assume UTC and don't tell you
The audience trap: 'best time' is your audience's local time, not yours. A US brand run by an EU manager needs the tool pinned to ET, not CET.
Best for: pick a tool with per-profile timezone locking if your team is distributed or you travel.
Pick Sprout or Hootsuite if posts must hit local audience time regardless of where you are. Test it: schedule one post, check the published timestamp.
