Spin up a hub page from a keyword cluster
Client had 15 scattered posts on one topic, no center of gravity. Built a hub. The build:
— Pull the 15 posts, confirm they share one broad parent keyword
— Create the hub page targeting that parent term — real copy, not just a link list
— Link the hub DOWN to all 15 posts with descriptive anchors
— Edit each post to link UP to the hub near the top
— Put the hub in main nav or a prominent category so it gets link equity
— Add it to the sitemap, request indexing
The hub ranked for the broad term in five weeks and lifted the 15 children with it.
Don't build a hub for a cluster of 3 posts — you need enough children to justify the page or it's thin.
