Running 50 pitches in your head = chaos. My columns, exactly:
— Domain | Editor name | Email | Date pitched | Follow-up due | Status
— Status values: pitched / replied / negotiating / writing / live / dead
— Conditional format: follow-up due today turns the row red
— A "link live?" column you check 2 weeks post-publish
That last column caught 4 placements where my link got stripped silently. Without it I'd never have known.
50 active pitches, zero dropped balls. Build the sheet before you scale, not after.
