Hootsuite for Threads: do you actually need it
Tested on a real account for 10 days against my usual cheaper stack.
Standout: the unified inbox and approval workflows are genuinely strong if you're an agency juggling client sign-off. Threads got added to the network list and basic publishing works fine.
— Mature team permissions and approval chains
— Reliable publishing, no missed sends in my test
Cons: the price. Plans start around $99/mo and the Threads features are no deeper than tools costing a fifth of that. Threads analytics inside Hootsuite are the same shallow API metrics everyone gets.
The annoying limit: you pay enterprise money for commodity Threads publishing.
Verdict: justified only if you already need its team/inbox machinery. For Threads alone, Skip — you're funding features you won't touch.
