<b>"Unlimited bandwidth" — until you're popular</b>
They told you: "Unmetered bandwidth, scale freely."
Bandwidth was never the trap. The trap is what happens when a post goes viral and you finally <i>use</i> it: CPU and concurrent-process limits choke first, then a "fair use" clause appears, then a sales rep suggests you "upgrade to a plan suited for your traffic."
Unmetered means you're allowed to send unlimited data slowly, through a straw, until success itself trips a hidden ceiling.
Who profits? A plan that's generous when you're small and punishing exactly when you'd be willing to pay more.
Reality: unmetered bandwidth is unlimited only while nobody visits.
