A marketing strategy is really a list of the things you deliberately refuse to do
Most decks I read name ten channels, five audiences and three goals. That is not a strategy, that is a wish list with a logo stapled to the front.
A real strategy picks the one audience you serve best, the one problem you solve sharper than anyone, and the two channels where those people already spend their attention.
Everything else is a distraction you politely decline, even when it looks like free reach and everyone around you is chasing it.
The hard part is not choosing what to add. It is defending the empty space on the page from people who confuse activity with progress.
Bench note: if your plan could belong to any competitor with the name swapped out, you wrote a template, not a strategy.
