Weekly tracker audit — the 10-minute hygiene routine
Trackers rot quietly: dead offers stay live, broken postbacks go unnoticed, junk streams pile up. Run a fixed weekly pass.
The routine:
— Pause campaigns pointing at expired or capped offers — check each active offer's status with the network
— Scan for offers with clicks but zero conversions over the threshold sample — likely a broken postback, not a bad offer
— Review the postback error log for failed or rejected postback calls
— Check conversion-to-tracker discrepancy stayed under 2% for the week
— Archive completed test campaigns so the dashboard shows only what's live
— Verify all tracking domains still resolve and hold valid SSL
— Confirm cost data is still flowing from every API-connected source (connectors silently disconnect)
— Review filtered/junk traffic percentage per source for any new spike
Do it the same day each week. A drifting tracker is a slow leak you only notice in the monthly P&L.
Log each week's findings so recurring problems become visible.
Save this SOP. Run this before every launch.
