Low-difficulty terms compound early and fund authority; a measured share of hard terms captures the volume once the domain can hold it. The tiered mix beat both extremes because it sequenced wins into reach.
<b>So what:</b> allocate roughly 60% easy, 30% moderate, 10% reach terms. Early wins build the difficulty headroom the hard terms need later.
Benchmark of the week: a 60/30/10 difficulty mix returned about 1.6x the 12-month traffic of an all-easy plan.
