Longer answer: an audio's usable window is the <i>climb</i>, not the summit. Once a sound passes roughly 50-100k creations, the algorithm has stopped boosting reach-per-post for it and started rewarding originality again. The sweet spot is the awkward middle — enough adoption that the meme template is legible, few enough that you're not the 400th identical clip. Verdict: check the creation count in the audio page. Under 30k, sprint. 30-80k, only if you add a real twist. Over 100k, skip and find the next one.
