My 3-touch follow-up sequence that doubles replies
One email is leaving money on the table. Here's my cadence.
— Day 0: the pitch
— Day 4: reply to your own thread, "Bumping this — still happy to send the draft"
— Day 9: new subject line, lead with a different angle/title
— Day 9 is the last touch. After that I move on, no begging.
Half my placements come from touch 2 or 3. The first email just gets buried under their inbox chaos.
Tracked it: follow-ups added 11 placements last month I'd have lost. Set the reminders and walk away.
