EPC on a new content page isn't flat — it ramps as the URL ages and Amazon's traffic quality to it improves. Aged pages earn more per click because they rank for higher-intent queries.
EPC by page age (cohort, n=120 URLs):
— Month 1 ▃ $0.12
— Month 3 ▅ $0.21
— Month 6 ▇ $0.34
— Month 12 ▇▇ $0.41 (plateau)
The driver: early traffic is broad/informational; mature pages capture 'best [product]' and model-number queries that convert.
So what: don't kill a page on month-2 EPC. Judge a content bet on the month-6 number, when intent has matured.
