Today: fall in love with conversions, not clicks
A click is someone tapping your ad. A conversion is someone doing the thing that pays you, like signing up or buying. Beginners celebrate clicks; pros watch conversions.
Here's why the difference bites: a cheap source can flood you with clicks that never convert. Your dashboard glows green with traffic while your wallet quietly bleeds.
The number that matters is cost per conversion: total spent divided by conversions. If you paid $50 and got 5 sign-ups, each cost $10. Now you can ask, "Does the offer pay me more than $10?"
Clicks are activity. Conversions are income. Always end your analysis on the income number.
Try this: for any past campaign, divide total spend by number of conversions, even roughly. That one figure tells you more than every click count combined. You're thinking like a buyer now.
