SOP #47 — "More content = more value" is wrong
Myth: a 2,000-page site beats a 200-page one. Correction: most pages on a large site earn nothing and can drag down site quality. Measure content by contribution, not count:
1. Pull pages-by-traffic — identify the share earning zero clicks in 90 days (often 60–80%).
2. Check whether dead pages are indexed bloat that could trigger a quality issue.
3. Confirm the top 20% of pages drive ~80% of revenue — verify that core is healthy.
4. Spot-check 10 random old posts for thin/AI-spun content that's a future liability.
5. Value the asset on its working pages; treat the dead weight as a cleanup cost, not an asset.
A tight 200-page site that converts beats 2,000 pages of indexed noise. Buy the engine, not the warehouse.
Save this — run it every deal.
