Before I email anybody, the site clears these or it's dead to me.
— Open their last 3 posts. Dates within 60 days? Good.
— Click 2 outbound links in old guest posts. Still do-follow and indexed? Good.
— Search site:theirdomain.com casino — if it's already a link farm, skip it
— Comments section alive, or ghost town?
— One real human name on the team page
Fails two of these, I don't even open my outreach doc. Saved me from 40 garbage placements last quarter.
Vet before you pitch.
